Thesis Title : Korean Expatriates Adjustments and Job Satisfaction in Malaysia : Extended Analysis
The purpose of this study is to discover how Korean expatriates that are currently employed in Korean subsidiaries operational in Malaysia possibly suffer from negative career satisfaction due to the differences between Korean Corporate Culture (KCC) and Malaysian Corporate Culture (MCC) and how KCC integrates into MCC. The study design is focused around a framework which examines KCC, it’s relationship to MCC and how this framework is relevant to KCC and MCC implementation, and the implications on Korean expatriate career satisfaction. The analysis herein is via a qualitative research and the two-fold purpose is designed to understand the expatriate’s perspective and to answer the hypothesis. Fourty-six interviewees voluntarily participated in in-depth interviews. Interview data were transcribed and subsequently analysed to facilitate the development of themes and ultimately led to emerging patterns. Document analysis, an in-depth journal of notes, and qualitative interviews were utilized to develop participant profiles and to generate the framework. The research method employs a descriptive method and reflection of the interviews. Also, direct quotes and citations are used where possible. The sample quotations were based on reflective, in-depth commentary by each individual in the interview.

Thesis Title : Simulating the Authenticity of Power Divider Rule for the Electrical AC Circuits using Circuit Maker SOFTWARE
The revolution of electricity formulation was started in early 17th century and
superficially ended up with the electrical current divider as well as the voltage divider rules. As a
matter of fact, the product of these two components (current and voltage) is the electrical power
and this approach has been conventionally applied for any circuits’ calculation so far. The power
divider rule (PDR) is an alternative mathematical formula for the computation of electrical
power distribution across any DC electrical circuits and it was published in the Electronics
World - UK magazine, a 150 years old periodic. The mathematical analysis was limited to only
the DC circuits and therefore an extended analysis becomes crucial to implicate the formula into
practical application today, especially in the AC circuit calculations. To what extend the power
divider rule works well in AC circuit is still an ambiguity as there is short of literature on it since
the day of publication. Literally there is no substantial analysis has been done yet to produce
pertinent results and thereby, the power distribution in AC circuits are thoroughly investigated in
this thesis. The ideal and non-ideal simulating results show an authenticity of the formula
because it works well in the AC circuits in addition to the DC circuits. With the breakthrough of
this magnitude, the power divider rule gains full authenticity for power calculation in electrical
circuits; regardless of the input supply (DC/AC) and the circuit configuration (series/parallel).
Thesis Title : Eliminating the Negative Photo Resist on Non Coating Detection Issues in Electrical Solar Plate by Applying Kaizen Method
Photoresist is a material that photographically exposed and processed, and used to "resist" a sandblast stream which transfers a pattern to the object affected. Globally, there are two types of photoresist: primarily the positive and secondarily the negative. For positive resists, the resist is exposed with UV light subjected to material which has to be removed. In these resists, exposure to the UV light changes the chemical structure of the resist so that it becomes more soluble in the process. The exposed resist is then washed away by the developer solution, leaving windows of the bare underlying material. In other words, "whatever shows, goes away." The mask, paving ways for the residue which contains an exact copy of the pattern which has to be remained on the wafer. Key photoresist matrix are as follows; resolution, contrast,Sensitivity, spectral response curve and etch resistance. Negative resists behave in just the opposite manner. Exposure to the UV light causes the negative resist to become polymerized, and more difficult to dissolve. This is the root cause as the negative resist remains on the surface wherever it is exposed, and the developer solution removes only the unexposed portions. The unexposed (uncross-linked) areas of resist as well as polymer chains that have not been cross-linked to the overall network of the gel then be dissolved during development. To what extent this Kaizen method helps to improve the process is novel part of this project.
Thesis Title : Electromechanical Conversion of the Pneumatic Based System into Servo Driven Electrode Actuation System in Electrical Resistance Spot Welding
Resistance spot welding technology is a premier metal joining mechanism in various
industries. The revolution of its usage was started in early 19th century and today many
industries are mainly depending on it for their mechanical assemblies; particularly the
aeronautical, automotive and precision engineering sectors. The present welding techniques
of RSW technology are able to produce multiple welding currents’ sequences with
corresponding welding periods but manufactured with either pneumatic or hydraulic or spring
assisted servo based force actuators. All of these force-executors reveal some inconsistencies
to certain degree on the force profiles which affect the weld quality, indeed. Moreover the
weld size, its compactness and inherent character of spot welds are the primary factors that
determine the weld strength. Hence thorough exploration into the possible improvement of
force profiles; before, during and after the welding process is carried out in this project. At
one moment, the suppression of instable forces (EGFF) that induced inherently during the
welding process creates significant improvements on welds. This suppression led to
remarkable changes in force profiles which have produced good spot welds and offered
significant improvements in terms of weld qualities. Besides, the welding procedures and
relevant concepts are well categorized into the single current and single force (SISF) and dual
current and dual force (DIDF) welding techniques for the welding engineers with complete

Thesis Title : An Analysis of Applied Machine Learning With Linear Regression and K Nearest Neighbor for Real Estate House Price Prediction
Human lives are widely influenced by House, it’s a basic human need to have a house for shelter and comfort. Humans always have a plan to have their dream house, usually planning for house buying and renting is a challenging for them because of poor planning, many humans in society can’t have their own houses. Housing price is a major determiner of the economy, representing both the standard of living as well as the cost of living of many dwellers of a community. The ability to forecast and accurately predict housing prices from certain features such as number of rooms, area of garage in square feet, number of bathrooms, etc. may help real estate management/organizations as well as home/property owners to estimate the best-selling price of their house. The process of Forecasting house/property price is a mandatory module, for decision making for buyers and investors for allocation according to budget, searching house according to requirements, funding stratagems, and determining suitable policies. There are several approaches to predict and several house factors/features which influence the most on house price like location, travel cost, rooms, space etc. but the stakeholders of real state in the process are not aware of the several factors and approaches and statistical techniques available to predict the house/property price considering several aspects relating to surroundings, environment and other amenities etc. Machine learning is a speedily growing field at the intersection of computer science and statistics that is concerned with finding patterns in data. It is responsible for remarkable advances in technology, from personalized product recommendations to speech recognition in cell phones. As Data analysis processing helps to extract information from both structure and unstructured data and Machine learning algorithms provide robust analytical tools for data exploration, in this research we analyzed all the factors and features by data analysis process and them we applied linear regression and K nearest Neighbor to model and predict the house prices.
Thesis Title : Antimicrobial and Immunomodulatory effects of novel synthetic peptides
Considering the role of Anti –Inflammatory drugs, ISSAR PHARMACEUTICALS have patented molecule # US 9,487,560 B2 with the capacity to modulate Angiogenic activity. The lead molecule IS 217 is developed by ISSAR PHARMACEUTICALS PVT.LTD. Previous studies have shown that the synthetic peptide recombinant IS 217 triggers a signaling cascade which reduces levels of TNF- α and IL-12, and increases IL-10 in macrophages. Because TNF-a is a major mediator of the pathophysiology of sepsis and blocking inflammation is a possible line of therapy in such circumstances, we tested the efficacy of IS 217 in reducing symptoms of sepsis in a mouse model of cecal ligation and puncture–induced sepsis. IS 217 significantly decreased levels of serum TNF- α, IL-1b, IL- 6, and IL-12 and reduced organ damage in mice. IS 217 was able to reduce sepsis-induced mortality when given prophylactically or therapeutically and improved survival. Our studies show that IS 217 has potent anti-inflammatory properties and can serve as a novel therapeutic to control sepsis.
Social Inclusion and Competitiveness of Companies : Employing People with Disabilities
Work enables participation in society. However, people with disabilities are particularly often affected by unemployment and thus by social exclusion. The social inclusion of people with disabilities, by promoting employment, can only be achieved by companies themselves. Deliberately employing people with disabilities, therefore, represents an important social responsibility of companies towards society. Evidence from the literature shows that corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, as well as social inclusion, are more than just a commitment and can bring various benefits to a company. The aim of the present study is therefore to analyse the case for promoting the employment of people with disabilities to show whether and to what extent social inclusion as part of the CSR strategy can contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of companies. The topic is viewed and analysed from different perspectives, using five dedicated journal papers, mainly based on qualitative data. The results reveal first insights as well as trends and tendencies and provide a basis for subsequent studies. They show that social inclusion as part of the CSR strategy can increase a company's competitiveness and business performance, presumed the company succeeds in creating a corporate culture that accepts and promotes social inclusion on one hand and creates awareness for CSR initiatives among stakeholders on the other. Simultaneously, governmental frameworks that respond positively to and expect sustainable development or social inclusion can provide additional and significant support to these concerns. Due to the limited literature and research on the subject, further research is necessary. In particular, there is a lack of best practice approaches on how social inclusion can be promoted in companies and implemented in CSR strategies.

Bachelor Project Title : Supply Chain Integration into e-Procurement Implementation
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of e-procurement implementation into businesses from small to medium scales. The fundametal principles of businesses are remained the same as it is, while e-procurement implementation is expected to further ease the goods availability. This observational study is categorized under the descriptive research methodology for which the data is collected through structured questionnaire from several companies. The primary components that involve in this research are: i) frequencies and ii) percentages of success. The final data is analysed through the factor analysis and regression analysis. Evidence shows that the efficiency depends on the centralization of the process rather than single person controlled mechanism. Minor aspects do affect but major aspects play crucial role is successful rate. Finally our study propose an internal integration of function would lead the success rate to higher than the current practice.
Bachelor Project Title : Monitoring the Efficiency of Supply Chain Management in Industrial Practise (A Case Study)
Monitoring the efficiency of supply chain management in industrial practise becomes an essential for MNC companies. This objective is, as a matter of fact, gained significance among companies despite the geographical concerns. As such, in this report I have considered the efficiency of 'Compony X' from China in relation to the fundamental concepts of supply chain management. This project uses, some of the Big Data information from 'Company X', which was published in one of the international journal. With the usefulness of Big Data analysis that was initially done by using the Microsoft Power BI, the analysis become easy as ever. Technically considered: the inbound logistics become subject matter for many manufacturers and retailers, when priority is questioned. This ideology is important because it reduces the cost in overall and improve the efficieny in supply chain management. However still some company focuses on outbound logistics rather than powering up the inbound. What would be the result if I do align both parameters to certain extent where an absolute efficiency is yielded.
Bachelor Project Title : Analysing the Performance of Staffs in Logistics Business : A Case Study.
In logistics business: the autonomic, neutral and practice-oriented aspects are contributing factors to win the heart of internal workers for continuous performance. To what extent this ideology works for the food product retailers is the objective of this project as I have considered the Lam Din Food Products, located in Busan, South Korea for inspections. The Supply Chain Management (SCM) was closely monitored for 30 days on overall basis, to characterize the working pattern while sorting out the real factors that affect the smooth flow. Some internal issues and business ethics do affect the staffs from performing well, although it was said to be local custom in Busan, but honestly pave ways for improvement. In this project, eventually, a set of recommendations was drafted and subsequently it was submitted to the management for consideration. The primary setback point is that the company adamant on several internal rules to limit autonomous reaction to delay and breakdown cases. The way analyzing the issues and characterizing the working pattern becomes new problem solving technique and the final recommendation improves the performance by 22% over 6 months time.
Bachelor Project Title : An Observation on the Criticality in Logistic Business during Emergency Situations
From Feb 11, 2017 to Nov 28, 2017: North Korea has conducted various missiles programs for 16 times in its land and to what extent these programs have dismayed the regular logistics business around border-cities of South Korea is the quest of this report. It was taken as surveys, 30 similar questions were distributed to 120 logistic personals from Goseong, Yanggu, Hwacheon, Cheorwon, Yeoncheon and Paju; the absolute border cities of South Korea to North Korea. This sort of studies will help to understand the difficulties in logistics business, particularly to food industries, when neighbour countries impose severe threat in the continent. Although various reasons were given in the survey, only the precise points that affected the logistic business were taken into account. The survey result shows multiple points but the fake news and speculations being the highest threatening points in logistic business but local government agencies have well handle it during peak tensions. Eventually, a contingency plan of storing more food products at district levels have eased the critical days in 2017.
Diploma Project Title : Logistics Projects Need A Controlling Mechanism
Logistics projects are usually defined as a combination of complex, special and unique sets of activities that have technical and economical elements in each and every corner of it. Technically the elements are confined by the cost, time, geographical means and several other superficial means too. Hence the controlling mechanism of a logistics project is, in fact, a process of measuring progress toward an objective. The continuous evaluation and monitorization of progress becomes the key success in it, while the corrective measures gain significance in maintaining customers in long run. This project paper explores the fundamental concept of controlling mechanism that boost the logistics business in its scale.
